We were invited to attend the Friends of Wincobank Hill AGM at The Old Chapel, to present our proposals for the area. We got to hear a very interesting talk from Dr Roger Doonan on the archaeology of the Hill Fort and Roman Ridge. We plan to talk to the Friends again at their next meeting in January to discuss our ideas in more detail and gather material for designing the text and objects to be incorporated.
